With whom does NUTS share your Personal Data?

Where does NUTS store your Personal Data?

By using the Software, you acknowledge and agree that the technical processing and transmission of Personal Data, may involve, (a) transmissions over various networks, including the transfer of Personal Data to the United States and/or other countries for storage, processing and use by NUTS, its affiliates, and their service providers; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Email preferences: You may opt out from receiving any marketing or promotional emails from us by following the instructions for unsubscribing in the emails we send to you or by contacting us at privacy@nutstechnologies.com. However, you cannot opt out of any emails related to your Account registration or transactions with or relating to the Software or any Subscriptions.

Please be aware that if you change the preferences on your device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies, this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of the features on the website.

Do Not Track: While we take all reasonable steps to protect the privacy of our website visitors, we cannot promise that the current limitations of our online applications programming will address every browser setting or honor every personal browser preference. In particular, we have not implemented the necessary program changes to honor “Do Not Track” or “DNT” browser signals. What security does NUTS maintain with respect to Personal Data?

NUTS has reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures in place to protect Personal Data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Your Account is protected by a password for privacy and security. However, you must prevent access to your Account by appropriately selecting and protecting your password, and limiting access to your computer(s), device(s), and browser(s) on which the Software runs or is installed.

The transmission of information via the Internet is never completely secure, and NUTS is only able to control its systems and Software, but not any connected communications systems, other software or services, or any device on which the Software is accessed or installed. Accordingly, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of your information, and unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors outside of NUTS’ control may compromise the security of information managed by the Software (including Personal Data).

For how long does NUTS retain Personal Data?

NUTS retains Personal Data only as long as necessary to provide the Software and for the other purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, in accordance with NUTS’ retention policies, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by Applicable Law.

Does NUTS collect information from children?

The website and Software are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the website or Software. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. Use of Cloud API User Data NutManager is a desktop program that protects and manages files on local storage or on cloud storage. Its purpose is to access and manipulate user content in the supported cloud storage systems from a local machine of the end user. For accessing the user content via the cloud provider API, NutManager uses authentication mechanisms, such as OAuth or HTTP Cookies, depending on the particular cloud provider offerings. Use of these authentication mechanisms and user data is governed by the privacy policies mentioned in the Resources & Further Information section and followed by the privacy policy of NUTS Technologies.

NutManager provides the end user with access to their files available in a storage system associated by the authentication credentials via the publicly exposed API of the storage system.

NutManager allows storing the authentication credentials on the user machine in an encrypted container.

NUTS Technologies does not explicitly or knowingly share any user data with third parties.
